New In the Library: Books Donated by Sharp End Publishing

The Club works with its organizations including its Industry Partners to provide discounts on gear, books, and more. Most discounts are resolved through the use of special, Club-only coupon codes. To get the code for any of these promotions, please email info@americanalpineclub.org or call the AAC office at (303) 384-0110.

Sharp End Publishing is a company of climbers, for climbers. The Sharp End catalog has grown to include a comprehensive collection of guidebooks, with over 40 titles including the legendary Women of Climbing Calendar. The code is good for any product, except the already heavily discounted eBook packages.

Sharp End has agreed to donate books to the Armando Menocal Guidebook Collection so that YOU can check them out! Here’s a list of recently added books.

New In the Library: Books Donated by Supertopo

Chris McNamara just sent a group of books to fill some gaps in the Armando Menocal Guidebook Collection. This group of books donated by AAC Media Partner Supertopo was fun to add to the catalog because it allowed us to add links for information beyond what the library has within the brick location—downloads from Supertopo.com! Big Thanks to Supertopo for supporting the AAC Library!

Chris tells me he’ll send the newest edition of Yosemite Big Walls as soon as it’s out (In the meantime – whoever took our copies?  Send them back!).

Check it out—if you click on the link below, you get to the library catalog.  Members can log in with their AAC website username and password to request books and DVDs to be mailed to them, anywhere in the US, as part of their member benefit!  In each catalog entry for a Supertopo book there’s a link for their home page.  You can click that link for additional route beta or purchase an e-book direct from Supertopo if you decide you want it for your very own.
