The first of a series of monthly talks in the Bradford Washburn American Mountaineering Museum was a success! Maurice Isserman and Tom Hornbein kept a conversation going with a crowd of 60. Ever the trooper, at one point Maurice read from his book by headlamp when the museum lights went out! Technical glitches aside, the intimate discussion was enhanced by the model of Everest in the background, with an effigy of Jim Whitaker looking on, and the interest and enthusiasm of the speakers and the crowd.
Come on back for the second in the series, Feb. 4th with Pete Takeda!
